MD 410 Hippie Convention 2018

As DG Geila has repeatedly posted on our Facebook pages recently, the success of the MD 410 Hippie Convention at the Wilderness Hotel from 27 – 29 April 2018 has left her a “ridiculously proud DG!”

Well done to all the Clubs from District 410A who travelled to be a part of the awesome weekend and to meet up with the rest of the Lions family.  The photos received are far too many to post on the website but they are on Facebook and I didn’t see any unsmiling faces!

Well done also to DG Tillie Nel who chaired the committee to arrange the Convention which I’m sure was no sweat at all!!

One of the most important aspects of the Convention was the election of District 410A’s future leadership who will lead the District through 2018 – 2019 in true style.

Our new District 410A District Governor Elect is Rocky Wright, (Lions Club of Tableview),  our 1st District Governor Elect, Bennie Smith, (Lions Club of Wellington),  and 2nd District Governor Elect Jose Borges (Lions Club of Malmesbury).

We wish them all the very best for a successful year ahead!
